🌴A glimpse into a morning ritual 🌴
Starting your day with a 10 minute meditation practice will reduce stress, sharpen your focus and emotional balance for the entire day.
Your cortisol levels are elevated upon waking as a natural response to help you wake up and be alert in your outer world. If we jump right on devices, or let our mind start worrying about our to do list and troubles, we don’t give our body time to re-calibrate and lower that cortisol level as it naturally would. Now we are off and running this way for the entire day compounding any added stressors that may arise.
That afternoon crash will come for ya sooner than later because your nervous system thinks you have been running from a lion since you got out of bed…. how exhausting!
Tis’ the season of giving, and giving yourself 10 minutes a day to set your rhythm to show up your very best a day is the BEST gift you can give to yourself and those around you.
