Rivers Health

Rivers Health A member of Marshall Health Network, Rivers Health is a 101-bed, not-for-profit facility. PVH also operates numerous medical clinics.

Established in 1959 as a 40-bed private, not-for-profit community hospital, Pleasant Valley Hospital today has developed into something much more...

We are a not-for-profit healthcare system that provides community-oriented healthcare for Mason and Jackson counties in West Virginia and the counties of Gallia and Meigs in Ohio. This 101-bed facility offers a full spectrum of services and includes a 101-bed acute care facility, wellness center (open to the public), and more. General services are provided to the community including radiology, emergency medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, neurology, sleep studies, ophthalmology, orthopedics, oncology/hematology, otolaryngology, women's health and a full-range of therapy and rehabilitation services. Radiology services include CT, Vantage Orian MRI with Theater and Pianissimo noise reducing technology, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and 3-D digital mammography. We are extending care well beyond the doors of the hospital, offering alternative care options, emergency treatment of major and minor injuries and illness and preventive care and fitness programs. Pleasant Valley Hospital is truly a resource center for our community's healthcare needs.

We’re proud to celebrate our October Customer Service Employee of the Month!

Harrison Davidson 💻 Desktop Support Specialist

Harrison was nominated by a fellow employee for his exceptional support during a critical on-site visit. When an engineer from Marshall Health Network came to conduct a wireless assessment, Harrison went above and beyond by accompanying him throughout the entire process. He ensured the engineer had seamless access to all necessary areas and professionally managed interactions with end users, preventing any potential disruptions or delays.
The engineer specifically commended Harrison for his professionalism with end users and the invaluable assistance he provided in navigating our facility.

Thanks to Harrison’s dedication and proactive support, the engineer was able to complete his assignment in a timely manner. Harrison’s commitment to ensuring smooth operations and his willingness to dedicate his time to support both our team and our partners exemplifies outstanding customer service!

Want to nominate a deserving hospital employee or pcolleague? Email Human Resources by the last Tuesday of each month with detailed examples of excellent customer service!

Congratulations, Harrison! Your professionalism and dedication make a real difference! 👏
