Hey loves… quick heart-to-heart and an important update. 💗
Last Friday our hot water heater burst, and the downstairs at Sanctuary by the Sea flooded. We had several inches of standing water, and the leak ran into the floors. A full remediation crew is here now - everything is being handled with so much care, and we’re making sure the space stays safe for everyone who comes here with health challenges.
The good news:
Insurance will most likely cover the repairs and the remediation in full.
The hard part:
The entire downstairs will be closed for a while, and that means a big loss of income during a season when every bit matters.
I’ve poured everything I have into building this Sanctuary - my time, my heart, my savings, my prayers. And even with insurance covering the repair work, the financial burden of losing a whole floor for the next stretch is… a lot.
So I’m reaching out - gently, humbly - to ask for your support.
If this space has ever held you… nourished you… made you feel more alive in your body or less alone in your healing… I would love your help keeping us steady while we navigate this.
Ways to support right now:
✨ Come to class - everything will be held upstairs
✨ Book a massage or Ayurvedic treatment
✨ Become a member (even one month helps)
✨ Join the in person membership for $108 or virtual membership for $35/month
✨ Purchase an online course (trauma, pain, Ayurveda, nervous system care)
✨ Share this post with someone who might need what we offer
Every gesture, every class, every membership helps us keep Sanctuary by the Sea alive and thriving through this unexpected detour.
And to those of you who have already reached out, sent financial support, bought packages, booked sessions, or upgraded your memberships… thank you.
Your generosity has held me in a moment when I really needed it. You’re keeping this little sanctuary breathing while we navigate the repairs downstairs, and I feel your love so deeply.
Thank you for loving this place with me.
Thank you for believing in this work.
And thank you for helping us stay afloat while we rebuild.
I love you all so much.
