Armchair Travel-
Today’s destination- Washington… home of the Space Needle, Grand Coulee Dam, the Cascade Mountains…. We had an amazing meal of cherry hazelnut salad, Apple Orchard Chicken, and roasted root vegetables.
Then, off to visit Olympia and Seattle, with stops to see the sea lions on the coast, raspberry fields, and Salmon swimming upstream on the Snake River! What a day!

And… it’s time to work on a new jigsaw puzzle!

What a fun April Fool’s Day it has been!
Our rainy day indoor picnic with burgers and hot dogs cooked on the grill, baked beans and macaroni salad….
All came with a cash giveaway, but when the bills came, everybody paid up with jokes, silly faces, and sweet compliments !
Our group was served some brown E’s before the delicious real brownie!
We sang Easter songs, then were visited by Con-nie Cash and Con Denver for more musical fun…
Later, Grab-Bag Bingo brought us a lot of laughs.

Armchair travel to Oregon today!
Our specially planned noon meal featured some Oregon products-
Hazelnuts, cheese, and ice cream- yum!
We learned about the western settlement via the Oregon Trail.
Then, we visited Salem and Portland, the coast, Mount Hood, Tillamook Creamery, gorgeous waterfalls… and, we’re sharing links to a few of our favorite videos 🤣-click on the blue (one at a time) and enjoy!
