Let’s talk about the mental load. 💭
It’s the invisible weight many of us carry every day—the endless planning, organizing, and remembering that keeps life running smoothly. Even when it looks like “everything is fine,” the constant mental juggling can leave you feeling exhausted, stressed, and stretched too thin.
The mental load isn’t just about tasks. It’s about responsibility, worry, and the pressure to anticipate everyone else’s needs. Over time, it can impact your mood, energy, and overall well-being.
Acknowledging it is the first step toward change. You don’t have to carry it alone. Sharing responsibilities, setting boundaries, and giving yourself permission to take breaks are all ways to lighten the load. And therapy can help you develop strategies to manage it without burning out.
