Meet Cassie 🌿

Cassie works with adults of all ages who are navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and relationship challenges.

She has a deep interest in helping people understand the patterns in their lives—where they come from, how they show up in relationships, and how they may be keeping clients stuck. Many of the people Cassie works with struggle to trust themselves, often due to experiences of rejection, feeling left out, or going through painful or overwhelming life events.

Cassie takes a psychodynamic, depth-oriented approach to therapy. She isn’t afraid to dig deep and thoughtfully explore past experiences, early relationships, and difficult emotions. Her work may include reflecting on your younger self, increasing mindfulness, and tuning into the body to better understand emotional responses.

As this insight develops, clients often experience greater clarity, emotional relief, and a renewed sense of self-trust. If you’re ready to face challenging memories, understand yourself on a deeper level, and begin trusting your inner voice again, Cassie is here to support you through the process.

Meet Danielle 🌿

We’re excited to introduce Danielle, one of our therapists who brings deep empathy, compassion, and honesty to her work.

Danielle specializes in working with adults navigating:
• Trauma & sexual trauma
• S*x and intimacy concerns
• Abuse & neglect
• Grief and loss
• Couples

Her style is warm, kind, and caring—but she won’t sugarcoat what needs to be said. Danielle believes healing happens through a corrective, safe therapeutic relationship, where clients feel supported while also being gently challenged to grow.

She works with people who:
• Struggle with confidence or using their voice
• Feel stuck in repeating patterns and want to break the cycle
• Want to better understand themselves and their needs
• Are tired of living in fear or waiting for the “next shoe to drop”

Danielle helps clients regulate their nervous systems, find their voice, and build the internal stability needed to stand on their own two feet—so they can live fuller, richer lives with more choice and less fear.

We’re so grateful to have her on our team!

If you’ve said, “I’ll reach out next week,” for months — you’re not alone.

Sometimes we delay therapy because:

• We’re afraid change will actually happen
• We don’t know who we’ll be without the coping patterns
• We’re scared to spend money on ourselves
• We’re worried we’ll start and not follow through

But here’s something to consider:

Avoiding the decision is still a decision.

You don’t have to feel fully ready. You just have to be willing to take one small step.

Even sending the email counts.

If you live with anxiety, OCD, or phobias, starting therapy can trigger a whole new layer of worry.

What if I say the wrong thing?
What if it makes things worse?
What if I can’t handle what comes up?
What if I commit and then panic?

Anxiety is really good at generating “what ifs.”

But here’s the truth: therapy for anxiety is structured, gradual, and collaborative. You won’t be pushed into something you’re not prepared for.

It’s not about overwhelming you.
It’s about helping you build tolerance and confidence — one step at a time.

If you’ve lived through trauma, hesitation makes sense.

Therapy asks you to slow down.
To look at memories your nervous system worked hard to avoid.
To trust someone.

Of course your body might say, “Maybe not.”

Cold feet don’t mean you’re weak.
They often mean your nervous system is doing its job — protecting you from overwhelm.

Trauma-informed therapy doesn’t force you to relive anything before you’re ready. It focuses first on safety, pacing, and regulation.

You are in control of the process.

If you’re a woman who holds it all together, starting therapy can feel… complicated.

You’re used to being the strong one.
The reliable one.
The one who doesn’t fall apart.

So the idea of sitting down and saying, “Actually, I’m overwhelmed,” can feel unfamiliar — even threatening.

Sometimes cold feet aren’t about therapy.
They’re about finally putting yourself on the list.

You don’t have to be falling apart to deserve support.
You don’t have to justify being tired.

Taking care of yourself is not selfish. It’s sustainable.

Many people don’t see what happens behind the scenes when insurance is involved in therapy.

Being “in-network” often means therapists are reimbursed at a significantly reduced rate compared to their standard fee. Insurance companies may require additional documentation, approvals, and ongoing communication, which can sometimes delay payments or create administrative challenges.

This process can add layers of complexity that impact how smoothly care is delivered. For some practices, limiting the number of insurance panels they participate in allows them to reduce red tape, respond more efficiently to clients, and focus more fully on providing consistent, high-quality care.

Therapy works best when the focus stays on your growth and healing. Understanding how insurance works can help you make informed decisions about what feels like the best fit for your needs.
