April is Stress Awareness Month and this year's theme is "Be the Change". 💙

For EMS providers, that theme hits differently - every shift, every call, every outcome you carry home that nobody else sees.

"Be the Change" also means this: having the courage to ask for help when you need it. That's the hardest call in this field.

EMS providers experience PTSD at rates significantly higher than the general population. It accumulates. You don't have to carry it alone.
