Healing Acres has a new addition! Baby girl calf was born earlier this morning!

My 4:50pm client is in luck… baby calf bottle feeding time is coming up soon!

I truly love my career as I get to work with individuals from all walks of life and of all ages! (it’s one of my passions and callings in life to be able to be a therapist to so many people)

Today I’m re-stocking up on the art therapy supplies at Healing Acres!

I found some good stuff to keep therapy sessions fun and engaging for the younger ones.

As a therapist I get to tap into my creative side and use various techniques to help children and adolescents identify feelings, learn emotional regulation techniques, and have fun during therapy!

I have welcomed a few new clients to Healing Acres recently and I’m excited they’ve welcomed me to assist them through their healing journey.

Whether someone is on my caseload for a few months or a few years, they are forever a part of the Healing Acres family.

Might be a tad bit early but I switched out the decor at Healing Acres.

At Healing Acres we devote much of our time to client care, but also a lot of time to the care of our therapy animals. Whether it’s emotional care or physical care!

This time I was tasked with collecting a stool sample from our newest therapy dog. It was hard isolating a sample to collect since we have 4 therapy dogs lol but Pebbles finally did it and Pebbles is healthy as can be!

Good job Pebbles! Pebbles is on her preventatives like all the other dogs and has had her rabies shot and we are so happy she’s part of our Healing Acres Family!

I think I should schedule her a haircut next! 🧐🙃

Tinsley needs to increase her walk and talks, but other than that all are in great health!
