I asked my husband yesterday if he wanted me to reach out to a plow company to plow our driveway so he can rest but he said no, he’s got it covered!

My partner in life does a tremendous job for Healing Acres! Always making sure everything is cleared and ready so I can safely and easily meet with my clients!

What does your therapist do during her breaks you ask!?

Sometimes I catch up on paperwork, sometimes I catch up with my biller or accountant or bookeeper, sometimes I reach out to new/prospective clients that have emailed or called me, sometimes I take a walk with one of the therapy animals, sometimes I nap 😴 lol, but today!? I do errands! Freshly stocked up with only the best for my clients, the therapy animals and myself lol!

Puffs lotion infused tissues, cottonelle toilet paper, Lysol floral scented sanitizer wipes, etc.

At Healing Acres we try to do counseling in comfort!

(But I’m definitely on a budget so I purchased all these products at the Dollar General!). We all love Dollar General!

Pebbles, our newest therapy dog, had her first official vet appointment with our veterinarian office today!

As you can see Pebbles devoted handler, Katerina, was on hand to assist during the vet appointment!

I mentioned to my 7 yo daughter yesterday that Pebbles has a first puppy visit appointment with our veterinary clinic for today and she INSISTED that she be present for the appointment! What a devoted handler for Pebbles! Awww

Yes I did pull my child out of school for an hour so she can attend the vet appointment, I hope the school is okay with that, but honestly it’s moments like this that children will remember most in their lives. Being there for someone special, or for a special occasion, is very important.

Social emotional learning is just as important as academic learning!

Go team Pebbles!
