Heard a beautiful song based on a profound African proverb, "When you pray, move your feet.". This reminds me of Krishna's call to action in his teachings to Arjuna in the Bhagavadgita, and to Gurudevi Nirmalananda's teachings, relevant today. In what way am I being called to act in today's world? First call is to know my own Self in whatever way I choose to act. It is to act from that deeper knowingness inside, rather than the knee-jerk reaction that we see so much of everywhere right now.
