HERE IS SOME INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A CAR ACCIDENT TO YOUR BODY :

When a person is in a car accident, the muscles experience sudden, intense forces that can cause several types of injuries. Here’s what happens:

1. Muscle Strain and Tearing

• Rapid movement or impact can overstretch muscles beyond their normal range.
• This can cause microtears (mild strain) or partial/complete tears (severe strain).

2. Whiplash (Common in Rear-End Collisions)

• The head and neck snap back and forth quickly.
• Neck, upper back, and shoulder muscles experience extreme tension, leading to soreness, stiffness, and spasms.

3. Muscle Spasms

• After impact, muscles may tighten involuntarily as a protective response.
• This can lead to pain, reduced mobility, and ongoing discomfort.

4. Inflammation and Bruising

• Blood vessels in and around muscles can break, causing swelling and bruising (contusions).
• The inflammatory response causes tenderness, warmth, and pain.

5. Delayed Onset Pain
