Picture this…

It’s the day before our Annual Santa Pancake Breakfast.
Over 500 people are expected.
The temperature outside? Teens.
Members are in the garage, hustling to put the final touches on setup.

And then…

🚨 The heat dies. 🚨

Perfect timing, right?

One quick phone call later to township resident and local business Bob Struck Heating & Air Conditioning, and within an hour, Bob and his crew are on scene.
Problem diagnosed.
Parts replaced.
Heat restored.
Crisis officially averted.

Fast forward a few days… the invoice arrives.

$0.00.

Bob donated all parts and all labor — because that’s what supporting your community looks like.

There are HVAC companies… and then there are stand-outs.
Bob Struck is absolutely the latter.

If you’re looking for HVAC work, do yourself (and your town) a favor and support a business that shows up when it matters most.

👏 Thank you, Bob, for having our backs when we needed it most.

In the last 48+ hours, your all-volunteer First Aid Squad has responded to more than 14 calls for assistance, including medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, and a medevac fly-out.

During this same period, an additional crew was formed to help provide coverage in Lincoln Park while their members enjoyed their annual installation dinner—because when our neighbors need help, we answer the call.

Sometimes, demand exceeds resources. Earlier this afternoon, while all of our apparatus were committed to handling three simultaneous calls, an additional medical emergency was dispatched. We are grateful to our partners at Lincoln Park EMS for responding into our town to ensure uninterrupted emergency coverage while our crews were assisting others.

This morning at approximately 5:50 a.m., the duty crew was requested by Atlantic Health to assist with the transport of a critically injured patient from Chilton Hospital for transfer via Atlantic Air Ambulance to a neighboring hospital. The crew worked alongside the flight team, and the patient was successfully flown to receive additional specialized care.

Hey Pequannock,

Over the next few days, many of you will receive our Annual Fund Drive letter in the mail. We wanted to take a moment to share why this drive matters.

The Pequannock Township First Aid & Rescue Squad is a private, not-for-profit organization that relies heavily on the support of the community we serve. Every day our volunteer EMTs respond when seconds matter, helping your family, friends, and neighbors during medical emergencies. We provide this service to residents absolutely free of charge, and your support helps make that possible.

Donations from our Annual Fund Drive are used to:
- Train and equip our volunteer members to meet today’s emergency care standards
- Maintain our ambulances and lifesaving equipment
- Improve and maintain our aging building so we can continue operating safely and effectively

2026 is especially meaningful for our organization as we celebrate our 75th Anniversary of serving Pequannock. For 75 years, this squad has stood ready for our community—built on volunteerism, dedication, and the belief that emergency medical care should always be there when you need it most. Your tax-deductible donation helps ensure we can continue that mission for the next 75 years.

Please consider making a donation in any amount. You can also donate directly through our website: https://pequannockems.org/donate/
