Yesterday, our participants had a meaningful opportunity to give back to those who serve our community every day. They spent time creating and writing heartfelt thank-you cards to show their appreciation for our local fire department.

After finishing their cards, the group delivered them to the firefighters as a small token of gratitude for their hard work, bravery, and dedication to keeping our community safe.

It’s been a busy and fun-filled week at Wilkinson Community Outreach! 🎉

Our participants had a wonderful time celebrating Dr. Seuss Week with themed days, lots of laughter, and activities! Everyone enjoyed dressing up, showing their spirit, and joining in on the fun throughout the week.

We also made some great memories out in the community. The group enjoyed a refreshing trip to grab smoothies and had an exciting outing at the bowling alley where everyone cheered each other on! 🎳🥤

We are so proud of our participants and grateful for all the smiles shared this week! 💙

WCO is proud to accept the Get Down & Clean Up Challenge! 💪🧹

Today, we headed out to Livingston Town Park, where our participants learned the importance of giving back to our community and serving others with joy. Through this experience, we were reminded that even small acts of service can make a big difference.

Most importantly, today was about sharing God’s love with others—showing kindness, compassion, and care in action. We are so proud of our participants for stepping up, getting involved, and being the hands and feet of love in our community.

Our Mardi Gras Gala was truly a huge success, and our hearts are so full! The night was filled with laughter, music, joy, and meaningful moments of fellowship. Our clients had a wonderful time celebrating together, dressing up, and enjoying the festive atmosphere. Seeing everyone smile, connect, and feel celebrated is exactly what this event is all about.

Today at Wilkinson Community Outreach, our day program participated in a self-love activity focused on building confidence and positive self-esteem.

Participants took time to reflect on the things they love about themselves and shared these affirmations with one another. We also talked about the importance of loving ourselves just as we are and recognizing that we are all uniquely created in God’s image.

Today, Wilkinson Community Outreach had the opportunity to explore Downtown Yoga and participate in a yoga class together!

Our participants enjoyed learning new poses, practicing mindfulness, and focusing on relaxation and movement in a welcoming environment.

👗👔Dress & Suit Shopping 👗👔

Today was a special and exciting day at Wilkinson Community Outreach! Our clients enjoyed a wonderful outing of dress shopping and suit shopping in preparation for our upcoming Mardi Gras Gala. Everyone had the opportunity to pick out outfits that made them feel confident, stylish, and excited for the big night ahead.

From elegant dresses to sharp suits, it was a joy seeing smiles, and laughter as our participants tried on different looks and supported one another. Moments like these remind us how important it is to celebrate individuality, confidence, and community.

We cannot wait to see everyone dressed to impress at our Mardi Gras Gala! 💜💛💚
