**Sunday Sound Meditation: Receiving**

This Sunday, we gather for a gentle and restorative sound meditation centered on the practice of receiving.

So often we move through life giving, holding, and doing. This session is an invitation to soften that pattern—to slow down, open, and allow yourself to be supported.

Through grounding guidance and immersive sound, you’ll be held in a space where nothing is required of you. No effort, no striving—just the opportunity to receive what is already here for you.

Come rest. Come soften. Come receive.

Sound healing isn’t just something you *hear*… it’s something your body actually responds to on a deeper level 🔊✨

When you’re immersed in sound—like crystal bowls, gongs, or tuning forks—your body begins to shift into a more **coherent state**. This means your brainwaves, heart rhythm, and nervous system start working in a more synchronized, balanced way.

✨ Slower sound frequencies can help guide the brain into **alpha and theta states**—the same states linked to meditation, creativity, and deep relaxation
✨ Your nervous system begins to move out of stress (fight or flight) and into **rest and repair (parasympathetic state)**
✨ Vibrations travel through the body (which is mostly water), allowing sound to be *felt* on a cellular level
✨ This can support relaxation, reduce stress, and create a sense of internal harmony
