In commemoration of Veteran's Day on November 11th, we explore the extraordinary journey of Dr. Creighton B. Wright, a distinguished veteran and renowned cardiac and thoracic surgeon. His military service began during the Vietnam Conflict as a member of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. His commitment continued as he commanded the 73rd Combat Support Hospital and the 256th General Hospital in the US Army Reserve. During the Gulf War, he served as the Chief of Professional Services for the 803rd Medical Group at King Khalid Military City, S. A. His bravery and commitment earned him the Bronze Star, Kuwait and Saudi Liberation Medals.
