A proud Jacksonville native and University of Florida grad (Go Gators!), Dr. O’Connor brings a unique blend of clinical excellence, research expertise, and heartfelt patient care to our team. Dr. O'Conner practiced with Dr. Pullen, whose mentorship reinforced the importance of personalized patient care and a lifelong commitment to clinical excellence —and we’re thrilled to now have him seeing patients here at Smith Eye.
Dr. O’Connor is especially passionate about myopia management and cutting-edge vision care technology. When he's not in the clinic, he's often consulting with industry leaders, publishing in journals like Contact Lens Spectrum, or representing Northeast Florida optometry as a former president of the local society.
Outside of work, you might catch him out on the water, on the disc golf course, or enjoying time with his wife, Coral, and their two kiddos.
