Pelvic floor feeling tight or uncomfortable? This might help 👇

Grab a lacrosse ball or tennis ball and sit down gently on it. You’re going to place it under your “sit bone” (not your tailbone). From there, slowly let the ball sink slightly toward the midline of your body.

Find a tender spot and pause. Take 5 slow, deep breaths—let your pelvic floor relax with each inhale.

Then gently roll the ball forward toward the front (closer to your p***c bone) and take 5 more deep breaths.

Repeat on the other side.

This is a simple way to help release tension and improve awareness of your pelvic floor 💡

If you’re feeling heaviness or pressure in your pelvic area… don’t ignore it 👇

Those symptoms can be a sign of prolapse—and managing it starts with how you use your body every single day.

We don’t want to keep pushing pressure DOWN into the pelvic floor. We want to learn how to manage pressure in the abdomen and support (and even “lift”) the organs instead of pressing them out.

One simple tip you can start using TODAY:

💡 “Blow before you go”Before you lift, stand up, or exert effort:➡️ Inhale➡️ Then EXHALE as you move

That exhale helps reduce downward pressure and protects your pelvic floor.

Small changes = BIG difference over time.

Do you leak when you run? 🏃‍♀️💧Before you jump to kegels… try THIS one simple fix 👇

Check where your eyes and chest are pointing 👀If you’re looking up at the sky with your chest flared out, you’re putting extra pressure down on your pelvic floor.

Instead 👉 gently bring your gaze just BELOW the horizonLet your ribs soften down and stack over your pelvis.

This small shift can reduce pressure and help your pelvic floor work with you—not against you 🙌

Try it on your next run and see how it feels!

If you feel pressure or heaviness in your pelvic area during or after workouts… 🚩 don’t ignore it.

That “downward pressure” can be an early sign your body isn’t managing load well—and over time, it may contribute to pelvic organ prolapse.

One of the biggest mistakes I see?🚫 Holding your breath during workouts.

When you brace and hold your breath, you increase pressure downward on your pelvic floor.

Instead, try this:✨ Exhale during the hardest part of the movement✨ Keep your breath flowing (no breath-holding!)✨ Let your pelvic floor and core work WITH your breath—not against it

Your workouts should make you stronger—not create symptoms.

If something feels off, your body is trying to tell you something. Listen. 💛

Are you a mom who has to cross your legs every time you sneeze so you don’t p*e a little? 😅

It’s COMMON… but it’s NOT normal.

And here’s the part no one tells you 👇Doing Kegel after Kegel might actually be making it worse.

If your muscles are already tight and overworking, adding more squeezing isn’t the fix.

Try this instead:Next time you’re sitting or standing, check in with your body…Are you clenching your glutes? Holding tension?

👉 Let it go.Relax your butt muscles.Drop your pelvic floor.Take 5 slow, deep breaths.

Sometimes your body doesn’t need more strength… it needs permission to relax.

If this is you, your body is trying to tell you something — and pelvic floor PT can help 💛

Pain with in*******se is more common than you think… but that doesn’t mean it’s normal—and it definitely doesn’t mean you have to live with it.

So many women are told to “just relax,” “have a glass of wine,” or that it’s just part of life. But pain is your body’s way of telling you something isn’t right.

One of the most overlooked causes? Your pelvic floor.

These muscles can become tight, overactive, and sensitive—leading to pain, discomfort, or even avoidance of intimacy altogether.

The good news: this is treatable.

Pelvic floor physical therapy focuses on helping these muscles relax, lengthen, and function the way they’re supposed to—so you can feel comfortable, confident, and pain-free again.

You deserve to enjoy intimacy without fear or discomfort.

If this sounds like you, you’re not alone—and there is help.

If you’re waking up with neck pain, headaches, or stiffness… it might be time to look at your pillow.

Your neck spends 7–8 hours every night on that pillow, so the support it provides matters more than most people realize. A pillow that’s too high, too flat, or worn out can put your neck in a poor position all night long.

That’s why I love Pillowise pillows. They’re designed to properly support the natural curve of your neck and keep your spine in a better alignment while you sleep. When your neck is supported correctly, your muscles can actually relax instead of working all night.

Think of it this way:
You invest in good shoes for your feet… why not invest in the pillow supporting your neck every night?

✨ Better support
✨ Better sleep
✨ Less neck pain

If you’re waking up sore, stiff, or with neck pain, it might not be your mattress… it might just be time for a new pillow.

DM me if you want help finding the right Pillowise fit for you! 💤🛌

Your core is a pressure system—not just muscles.

When you inhale, your diaphragm should move down, allowing your abs, pelvic floor, and back to gently stretch.
When you exhale, everything should recoil and lift together.

But after pregnancy, many women unknowingly grip their upper abs all day long.

That constant holding increases downward pressure, which can lead to:
• Pelvic floor tightness
• Leaking
• Prolapse
• Difficulty fully relaxing the pelvic floor

This is why pelvic floor therapy isn’t just about the pelvic floor.

To truly heal, we must address:
✔️ Breathing
✔️ Abdominal wall function
✔️ Pressure management

A strong core isn’t about “pulling your stomach in.”
It’s about coordination, mobility, and balance.

When the abs and diaphragm work better, the pelvic floor doesn’t have to work overtime.
