Long time no post! Life gets so busy! I just completed my 18 hours of continuing education for my license renewal for 3 more years! After my 20 yrs in social work and retiring from Macomb County, I switched my career to personal training and massage therapy and wow it’s already been 13 1/2 yrs…..and I am still loving my job! I have the best clients, who make my job very rewarding, and I am grateful to work with them even the ones I haven’t seen in awhile (you know who you are) 😉🫶🤗

Today is my 11 year anniversary of being a licensed massage therapist and being a small business owner! It’s not always been easy, but it’s always been rewarding and I appreciate the role my clients (past and present) have made by helping me make a living and continue to be able to honestly say I love my job! 🙏🏻💕

Many clients may not know I worked in the social services field for almost 20 yrs before pursuing a second career as a licensed massage therapist. I will be hitting my 11 yr mark in a few months! Sometimes people ask me if I could go back careerwise, would I have done anything differently. My standard answer has always been I wish I had gone to chiropractic and massage school so I could adjust clients after their massage. More recently I also think I would have made an excellent dermatologist. A lot of my clients know I will pick a zit or get out the tweezers if need be!
