🚗OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois brought its impactful ThinkFirst Program to Ridgeview High School, continuing its mission to prevent brain and spinal cord injuries through education and awareness.

During a recent visit to Aledo, students engaged in critical conversations about staying safe on the road, including:

✅ Always wearing your seatbelt

📵 Avoiding distractions while driving or riding

🚫 Never driving impaired or riding with someone who is

One of the most moving moments came from our Voices of Injury Prevention Speaker, who courageously shared his personal journey through a traumatic brain injury caused by a crash. His story serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of making safe choices behind the wheel.

Yay! Our OSF HealthCare Eastern Region Security Team was recognized by IAHSS - International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety for their excellence in healthcare security, safety and emergency management!

The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) is the only organization solely dedicated to professionals involved in managing and directing security and safety programs in healthcare facilities. IAHSS is a professional association with more than 4,000 members who are healthcare security, law enforcement, safety and emergency management leaders.

We are so thankful for what our security team does to protect Mission Partners, patients, families and our community each day. What they face is unimaginable yet done with the greatest care and love.

We don't say it much, but we appreciate that our facilities team works behind the scenes and around the clock to make sure we have power, water and everything turning on and off when it's supposed to.
