Celebrating Life: Kendall’s Heart Transplant Journey

As we prepare for our Healthy Heart Workshop this Saturday, we are reminded that heart health is something that touches every life in different ways. One story that inspires us all is Kendall

Kendall received a heart transplant, a life-saving procedure that gave them a second chance at life. The journey wasn’t easy—filled with challenges, hope, and resilience—but today, Kendall is thriving, a living testament to the power of modern medicine, early intervention, and the strength of the human spirit.

Kendall’s story reminds us why heart health awareness, education, and preparedness are so important. Every workshop, every lesson, every resource we share can help save a life and support families navigating similar journeys.

Join us this Saturday Pontiac Go Red Day Healthy Heart Event as we honor lives, celebrate survivorship, and empower our community** to take heart health seriously..

Follow and support Kendalls Journey on Kendall's Whole Heart, LLC.

đź’“ For Kendall.
đź’“ For those we honor.
đź’“ For the lives we can still save.

Remembering a True Leader: Honoring Damany and Heart Health in Our Community

This Saturday, as we gather for our Healthy Heart Workshop, we take a moment to honor the lives that remind us why heart health matters. Among them is Damany Head a true leader in the Pontiac community.
Damany dedicated his life to supporting small businesses and served with passion as a leader of the Pintiac Regional Chamber. His vision, encouragement, and tireless work helped countless entrepreneurs grow and thrive. But last year, Damany was taken from us suddenly due to a heart attack—a tragic reminder of how fragile life can be and how important heart health is for all of us.

As we share knowledge about prevention, CPR, and life-saving skills during our Pontiac Go Red Day Healthy Heart Event we also honor Damanys legacy by committing to the health of our community—supporting each other, raising awareness, and taking action to prevent future tragedies.

Damanys leadership extended beyond business; it was about caring for the people around him Today, we remember him, celebrate his contributions, and pledge to make heart health a priority in his honor.

đź’“ For Damany
đź’“ For those we honor.
đź’“ For the lives we can still save.

According to the American Heart Association,

- Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women.

- Nearly 45% of women ages 20+ are living with some form of cardiovascular disease.

- Less than half of women entering pregnancy in the US have optimal cardiovascular health.

- Women experience unique life stages such, as pregnancy and menopause. that can put them at an increased risk for CVD.

This Saturday, we’re hosting our Healthy Heart Workshop, a day dedicated to heart health, prevention, and life-saving skills.

While many know Go Red Day as a time to raise awareness for women’s heart health, it’s important to remember that heart health affects everyone, and this event is for the whole community.

This workshop is extra special as we celebrate stories like Carden’s—who received a heart transplant as a toddler and is now thriving thanks to his new heart. His journey is a powerful reminder of the life-saving impact of heart care, awareness, and medical advances.

Join us as we come together to learn, honor, and take action—because awareness and preparedness save lives. Let’s build heart-safe communities, together.

đź’“ For Carden.
đź’“ For those we honor.
đź’“ For the lives we can still save.

This workshop is especially meaningful to me as we will be honoring multiple individuals who were taken too soon by heart-related conditions, including my father, William Model, who passed away from sudden cardiac arrest. His life and legacy inspire the work I do to educate and empower our community to respond when every second counts.

Join us as we come together to learn, honor, and take action—because awareness and preparedness save lives. Let’s build heart-safe communities, together.

đź’“ For William.
đź’“ For those we honor.
đź’“ For the lives we can still save.

is here!

Every February is American Heart Month, a nationwide observance that spotlights cardiovascular disease and the need for more lifesavers. First proclaimed in 1964 by President Lyndon B. Johnson, Heart Month began as a national call to take charge of your heart health—a mission that continues today.

How will you celebrate?
