Happy Friday! We kicked off the weekend with Let's Get Moving Motown Chair Exercise. Next, started our newest wall art project for Spring. Then we ended the day with Snack Attack Bingo hosted by Jackie from Ennoble Care!

In recognition of National Social Work Month, that recognizes Social Work Professionals and their important contributions within our Healthcare field, we honor and celebrate Mrs. Irene for her dedication, hardwork, and for always going above and beyond for our residents, families and staff. Our Resident Council President and Administrator presented her a small token of appreciation today.

"I have been so blessed to be in the health care field for almost 30 years in various positions such as business development, hospice, hospital case management, and my primary focus of social services. Being a social worker is a privilege; it requires meeting people where they are both literally and figuratively, assimilating to the needs of the individuals I serve including their family members and providing the necessary guidance in a field that can be very confusing. I have been with The Resorts for over a year and a half ow and I have to say I have an amazing group of peers that I work beside, and my residents and their family member are always the priority. My role as an advocate comes naturally to me and I take it very seriously. I am compelled to do my best for a population that counts on me. Much love and congratulations to all of the individuals called to serve others and thank you for all you do."

Today, we started a new wall art project for St. Patrick's and had our second meeting of The Yarn Crew!

The Georgia Public Safety Training Center, Savannah Campus, came today with 30 recruits to visit our residents, do some cleanup and of course... play Bingo! What an amazing group! We thank you for today and for what you do for our community.
