For National Foot Health Awareness Month, we are busting a major myth: "Walking barefoot is natural!"
Sure...if you are walking on soft grass or sand! But the human foot was absolutely not designed to walk 10,000 steps a day on rigid, hardwood or tile floors.
Going barefoot indoors forces your fat pads to flatten and your plantar fascia to stretch to the breaking point. Wear a supportive house shoe instead!
