We kept the fun going today at Oakdale! 🎈

This morning we played Balloon Badminton with praise music playing in the background. There was plenty of exercise, singing, and even a little shoulder dancing happening during the game!

This afternoon residents teamed up for March Jeopardy. Afterward we enjoyed reminiscing as residents shared stories about growing up with no electricity and no stores nearby. Their memories and wisdom are always the best part of the day. ❤️

Thing 1 and Thing 2 would have loved today at Oakdale! 🎉
We celebrated Dr. Seuss Day with story time, hat making, and a fun (and delicious!) activity stacking strawberries and bananas into our very own edible Seuss hats. 🍓🍌🎩
Our Buddy Group joined in on the fun, making the day even more special with shared smiles, creativity, and laughter across generations. ❤️

Residents tested their luck with Pick a Cup — revealing prizes, stealing from friends, or getting ZONKED! 😆 The reactions were priceless!

Today we hosted a cozy Bread & Beverage Bar and it was pure gold at the end of the rainbow! 💛

Residents enjoyed fresh slices of banana bread, chocolate treats, and a variety of refreshing drinks while visiting and laughing together. There’s just something special about gathering around good food and warm conversation.

Moments like these remind us that it doesn’t take much to create joy. Just a little sweetness and time spent together.

Our residents have been busy spreading a little extra luck around Residential Care as we gear up for St. Patrick’s Day! 💚
From crafting lucky four-leaf clovers 🍀 to creating adorable DIY decorations and shiny pots of gold at the end of the rainbow ✨🌈, the creativity has been flowing! These fun activities don’t just get us in the holiday spirit — they help keep minds active, hands busy, and hearts happy. 💚

Today at Skilled, our residents celebrated Mardi Gras in style! 🎭

They handcrafted beautiful masks, enjoyed a lively parade through the building (complete with decorated walkers, beads, and candy!), and finished the celebration with delicious cinnamon rolls.

Our residents enjoyed a day filled with smiles, laughter, and so much joy as we celebrated together. The highlight of the day was crowning our Valentine’s King & Queen 👑❤️ Congratulations to our winners! You both wore your crowns proudly!

✨ What a fun and busy week we’ve had at our Assisted Living! ✨

On Wednesday, Beth and Cody had the opportunity to spend some time with our friends at the Puxico Nutrition Center. We enjoyed a great game of BINGO, lots of laughs, and sweet fellowship with everyone there!

We are so thankful for community partners like the Puxico Nutrition Center who make days like this possible. Building relationships and spending meaningful time together is what it’s all about. 💙

We can’t wait for our visit next month!
