1. If God’s against it, so am I!
2. Every sin has its origin in the heart.
3. It is easier to keep the heart clean than to clean it after it has been defiled.
4. We cannot fight a fleshly appetite by indulging in it.
5. Small compromises lead to great disasters.
6. Those who do not love the Lord will not help us serve the Lord.
7. Our sinful habits do hurt those who follow us.
8. It is not possible to fight a fleshly temptation with fleshly weapons.​
9. We lose our freedom to choose when we give in to temptation. Our consequences are inevitable and incalculable and up to God.
10. God balances guilt with blame. Accept the blame for your actions and God will remove the guilt.

Don't miss out! Our 2026 Family Conference kicks off tonight at 6:30 p.m. with our first session on The Basic Problem in Marriage and How to Win. Then join us tomorrow morning to listen to Dr. David Teis speak on Raising Boys to Lead Men at 9:00 a.m. and Raising Confident Godly Girls at 10:30 a.m.

We do have childcare for Nursery to 6th grade so bring your kiddos along.

This Friday evening we’ll be doing things a little differently!

Instead of our regular RU meeting, we’ll be gathering upstairs in the auditorium for a special one-hour Family Conference service.

It will be a meaningful time of encouragement, practical teaching, and strengthening our families and faith together. We truly believe this night will be a blessing to everyone who attends.

All are welcome — we’d love to see you there!
