March Is Brain Injury Awareness Month
Led by the Brain Injury Association of America, this year’s campaign “My Brain Injury Journey” reminds us that every story is different, and every recovery path deserves understanding, support, and access to care.
Many individuals with brain injury experience visual challenges that are often overlooked: double vision, headaches, difficulty reading, poor concentration, dizziness, light sensitivity, and trouble with balance and movement through space. These symptoms can affect school, work, mobility, and overall quality of life.
Vision therapy can play an important role in recovery by helping patients rebuild visual function, comfort, and confidence after concussion or neurological injury.
If you or someone you know is struggling with visual symptoms following a brain injury, start by finding a qualified provider near you.
