Just in time for Thanksgiving, we enjoyed Turkey Bowling at Park View Villas! Everyone loved participating and watching the fun unfold. A special thank you to Marti and Bert for graciously hosting the event. Their efforts were greatly appreciated. Congratulations to our honor-winning bowlers: Nancy, Paul, and Sharon! And a big round of applause to our top winners: Dick, Via, Jan, Penny, and Wayne! 🦃

🎩🐰 Our 2nd annual Mad Hatter High Tea event at Village Concepts of Port Angeles was a fantastic success! Residents, their families, and staff all came dressed to impress, making for a truly immersive experience. We had wonderful characters like the loud and eccentric Mad Hatter, the commanding Queen of Hearts, and a smiling Cheshire Cat. The White Rabbit was also there, humorously reminding everyone of the time! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cucumber sandwiches, tarts, and macarons. We even heard one attendee comment, "If all tea parties are this much fun they'll follow the white rabbit down the hole and on to the next tea party!" ✨

Our Thanksgiving Friends & Family event was a spectacular success at Village Concepts of Port Angeles! The residents absolutely loved the festive decorations and the delicious food. A huge thank you goes out to our incredible staff, who did an amazing job coordinating every detail and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their hard work truly made the event special. Thank you to all of our friends and family who joined us for our Halloween party! We had a fantastic turnout, and our staff and residents went all out with their costumes. We’re excited to share the photos! 🎃 We also loved having trick-or-treaters stop by for candy, and our team later gathered in costume for a festive staff potluck. What a fun Halloween! Can’t wait for next year! 👻

Recently, our residents at Village Concepts of Issaquah enjoyed an outing to one of Issaquah’s most famous landmarks, the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery! 🎉 They watched live salmon going upstream during the annual salmon run, learned all about their life cycle, and even saw some full-grown salmon up close in the tanks. How incredible is it to experience such extraordinary wildlife right here in our own backyard?!

As we celebrate Veterans Day, we invite you to join us in honoring our heroes. To all the veterans within our Village Concepts Communities and beyond, thank you for your service and sacrifice. Your bravery has shaped our history and continues to influence our future in so many ways. We are forever grateful. Happy Veterans Day! 🇺🇸🎖️

📷: Navy veteran Elizabeth Osborn and Army veteran George Osborn at Village Concepts of Fairwood. Elizabeth joined the Navy in 1958, right out of high school at the age of 18. She was stationed in San Diego for six years before serving in London. George was drafted into the Army in 1962 at the age of 22 and served in Korea. Happy Veterans Day to you both!

We loved celebrating National Dog Day with Susie at Village Concepts of Port Angeles! 🐾 Susie is a beloved former pet of one of our residents and is fondly remembered by many. It was so special to see her recognize her old surroundings and greet her familiar friends upon arrival. 💛

Our team at Village Concepts of Port Angeles recently did some fishing 🎣 at the Port Angeles City Pier, our favorite downtown spot that features ferry watching, concerts, and world class fishing! One of our residents, Sharon, was lucky enough to catch a local Dungeness Crab! 🦀 It was too small to take home, so Sharon made sure he was returned to the ocean. Thank you to all our residents who joined us for this local adventure! We can't wait for the next one!

We've officially kicked off our Paint & Sip group at Village Concepts of Port Angeles! 🎨🍷 It’s been wonderful to see our residents embrace their creative side and enjoy time together. We can’t wait to see what beautiful artwork they create next!
