For almost 40 years, Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory has provided innovative funeral services. Founded in 1976 by Kenneth L.

Roberson in Port Charlotte, Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory now spans 2 generations and several locations. James Clay Roberson joined the family business in 1992. In 1978, a preneed division was established to shield families from the burden of making decisions during an already difficult time. Four years later, our onsite crematory was added to ensure your loved one is treated with respect and dignity throughout the entire cremation process and in order to guarantee the created remains you receive are in fact those of your loved one. Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory became affiliated with Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte in 1986 to offer families greater commemorative choices. And in 1991, a second location in Punta Gorda was established to serve families in Charlotte County south of the Peace River. We are members of the Selected Independent Funeral Homes, an invitation-only association for funeral homes maintaining the highest level of professional conduct and service. Since inception, our staff has adhered to a strict Code of Good Funeral Practices so your family is assured quality, ethical treatment.
