The Alliance is a coalition of Port Chester faith, civic, housing, education and labor groups, along with grassroots community members, who are fighting for responsible development, affordable housing, and good jobs. Passing along an appeal from the Port Chester Immigrant Defense organization. Please read and consider making a donation to the gofundme to help fund Rafael's legal defense.

Rafael is a bright young man who has faced unimaginable challenges since arriving in the United States from El Salvador. As a senior in high school, he has worked hard to adapt and become a valued member of our community. Unfortunately, he was recently detained by ICE agents due to his immigration status, despite being an innocent bystander. His family has already been scammed by a fake lawyer, and now they are struggling to afford the legal fees for a trustworthy attorney.

With his court date approaching, Rafael needs our help to stay in the country and finish his education. Every dollar raised will go directly toward his legal fees, giving him a chance to graduate and build a better future. Your support can make a real difference in his life.

Join us for an evening of celebration as we reflect on another impactful year at the Council of Community Services and honor two outstanding community champions: Heather Krakowski and Project Alliance.

Tickets benefit our campership fund, which sends local children from families with financial need to local summer camps.
