People say something came “outta left field” when it surprises them.

But the truth is, the best moves in life often look that way from the outside.

A career pivot.
Walking away from something that no longer fits.
Starting over when everyone expected you to stay put.

From the outside it looks sudden.
Unexpected.
Even reckless.

But the person making the move usually knows something others don’t.

They know the old path stopped making sense.
They know staying the same costs more than changing.
They know growth rarely happens inside the lines people draw for you.

The best moves rarely come from playing it safe.

They come from clarity.
From courage.
From finally trusting your own direction.

Sometimes the next chapter shows up outta left field.

That does not make it wrong.

Sometimes it makes it exactly right.

They said she’d changed.
They were right.

She changed when she was knocking on death’s door and realized life does not wait for comfort.
It does not negotiate.
It does not care about appearances.

That is when she stopped bargaining with the habits that were killing her.
Stopped romanticizing the damage.
Stopped calling survival “too hard.”

She did not change to prove a point.
She changed to stay alive.

And once you have faced the end, you stop living for approval.
You stop shrinking to keep the peace.
You stop explaining what someone committed to misunderstanding will never respect.

They may call it cold.
It is clarity.

They may call it arrogance.
It is self respect.

She is not becoming someone else.
She is becoming herself.

Quiet strength. Hard choices. Real change.
Keep choosing forward. 🤍

They said she’d changed.
They whispered it like a warning.
Like who she once was something to mourn.
The quiet, compliant girl they once knew was gone.
In her place stood a woman unafraid to be seen and heard.
Strong.
Steady.
Unapologetic.
They didn’t recognize her anymore.
And that unsettled them.
She would hear the murmurs.
See the sideways glances.
Feel the discomfort in rooms that once felt familiar.
People fear what evolves beyond their expectations.
They call growth rebellion.
They call confidence arrogance.
They call independence weakness dressed up as pride.
They told themselves stories about her.
Reasons she must have “changed.”
Excuses to make sense of a version of her they no longer accepted or controlled.
But they were wrong.
She didn’t change in the way they imagined.
She awakened.
There’s a difference.
She wasn’t becoming someone else.
She was finally becoming herself.
The woman she was always meant to be.
The one buried beneath doubt, beneath fear, beneath everyone else’s opinion.
Yes, she had fallen.
Yes, she had stumbled through failure and heartbreak.
But those moments didn’t define her.
They refined her.
They stripped away what wasn’t real.
They released strength into her spirit,
She no longer needed applause to validate her truth
She no longer needed approval to pursue her dreams.
This was her life.
Her direction.
Her ascent.
She set down the claws that once helped her survive the climb.
And discovered something greater.
Wings.
Wings she didn’t know she had.
Wings built from resilience.
From struggle and pain.
From believing she was capable of more.
She chose to rise.
To breathe deeply.
To chase sunlight instead of hiding in shadows.
And in doing so, she finally found herself.
Now she walks with certainty.
Not because life became easier..
but because she became stronger.
She believes in her power.
In her voice.
In her ability to create the life she envisions.
She isn’t just different.
She isn’t just original.
She is rare.
Authentic.
One of a kind.
And she knows it.

Sometimes growth does not look dramatic.

It looks like a quiet decision no one else sees.
It looks like releasing something that no longer fits.
It looks like choosing differently, even when it feels uncomfortable.

Letting go is rarely about weakness. It is about clarity. It is recognizing that holding on is costing more than moving forward.

Reinvention does not require an announcement. It requires alignment. And then the discipline to follow through.

Forward does not have to be loud to be powerful.

Keep choosing forward. 🤍

Healing Space | March 2 | Letting Go 🤍

Last night, a small group gathered for Healing Space and focused on the March 2 reading from The Language of Letting Go.

The theme was simple but powerful: letting go.

We explored what it means to release control over things we cannot manage, to stop carrying responsibility for other people’s choices, and to loosen our grip on expectations that create unnecessary stress.

The conversation centered on how letting go is not about surrendering our strength. It is about protecting our peace. It is a conscious decision to step back from over functioning, overthinking, and over owning what is not ours.

Healing Space is not a 12 step meeting. It is a peer support space where all recovery pathways are respected. No cross talk. No fixing. Just shared reflection and support.

We closed with a quiet grounding moment and a reminder that growth often begins with release.

Small group. Real conversation. Meaningful work. ❤️

Welcome to Outta Left Field Coaching.

This space is for women in recovery who are rebuilding more than sobriety.

You are capable. Educated. Experienced. You have led teams, raised families, held titles, carried responsibility. And somewhere along the way, life took a turn you did not plan.

Divorce. Career shift. Burnout. Getting sober. Starting over.

You are not broken. You are in transition.

Outta Left Field Coaching is where we turn that transition into strategy.

We focus on:
• Career clarity
• Confidence rebuilding
• Next step planning
• Executive presence after disruption
• Aligning who you are now with where you are going

This is not therapy.
This is forward motion.

I started this because I know what it feels like to be high functioning and quietly rebuilding. To hold leadership roles while doing deep personal work. To be underestimated because of your past.

You do not have to choose between ambition and recovery.
You get to build both.

If you are ready to map what is next, message me to schedule a Clarity Session.

You are not behind.
You are becoming.

— Meg 💙

There is nothing wrong with you.

If your career looks different than you thought it would…
If your marriage ended…
If you had to get sober…
If you are rebuilding at 40, 45, 50…
If you feel like you took a left turn no one saw coming…

You are not behind. You are becoming.

Outta Left Field Coaching is for women who are high capacity, capable, and quietly carrying a lot. Women who have led teams, raised families, built businesses, survived hard things, and still wake up asking, “Now what?”

We work on clarity.
We work on courage.
We work on aligned next steps.

No shame. No pretending. No starting over from scratch.
Just honest strategy and forward motion.

If you are in a pivot season and ready to build what is next, DM me. ⚾️💕

You are not off course.
You are just taking the scenic route.
