I’m Joanna and the class I offer is an introduction to meditation which teaches various types of practices along with an explanation of their benefits. I also present current scientific findings of how these practices influence our health, both physically and psychologically. While it is not a substitute for any medical or psychological care, it is a useful adjunct that may support you on your quest for a better experience of life.
6 week classes go over various objects of focused meditation, loving intentions and open awareness. They provide recorded meditations to practice with, and handouts. They are in-person but also available on zoom for friends out of town or when you have to miss a session.
Cost is $100.00 and is a pledge of intention to learn. Scholarships are available if needed.
