Mindfulness and Wellbeing I love to see people learn how to live happier, healthier and more connected lives. In 2 years it comprehensively covers various types of meditation.

This is the page of Building Blocks Healing Center PLLC which provides mindfulness classes, retreats, body work and wellness education. My name is Joanna and I am a Mindfulness Teacher certified by MMTCP (Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program) lead by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. I’m also a doctor of Physical Therapy and since 1995 have been working primarily to help people with neck pain and headaches. My intention is to alleviate some pain and anxiety in our world today.

We warmly invite everyone from across the nation and the world to join us for a special loving-kindness meditation session with the venerable monks and Venerable Bhikkhu Pannakara.

This meditation session will be livestreamed on our page and website so everyone can join us at the same time, no matter where you are in the world.

With the collective loving-kindness meditation from everyone in the whole world, it will make a significant effect on our world. When thousands of hearts meditate together in the same moment, our loving-kindness ripples outward, touching hearts, healing wounds, and planting seeds of peace everywhere.

Whether you join us in person or online from your home—your presence matters. Your meditation matters. Your loving-kindness matters.

Along with Joanna Podlewska-Ely at Mindfulness and Wellbeing, we have created a day that has sessions both indoors and out.

This is a 6 week progressing series that starts already on Wednesday in Port Huron. Each session builds on the previous so it’s importat to attend each week in person or on zoom.
Each session explains different mindfulness objects of attention (body sensations, breath, walking, kindness, compassion, goodness, openness) and then the participants can practice each with a recorded meditation that I send to them.
It is designed to jumpstart and inspire a daily meditation practice.

It occurs to me that the ability to calm our nervous system is becoming a survival skill in these times of mounting challenges. Being able to do it ourselves affects and helps others around us.

Previous participants can drop in for a fee of $15.
