We are currently hiring for full or part time positions in the Mental Health field providing therapeutic services to individuals of all ages in St. Clair County. The position is in-person and offers a flexible schedule, access to free Clinical training, individual and relationship building with other service providers in the community. Telehealth opportunities are available based on referrals and needs within the community. The position entails a combination of in-person and remote work, with the ability to set most of your own schedule. The position requires a Master’s Degree in the Human Services field (Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology) with a clinical license (LLMSW/LMSW, PHD, LLC/LPC, LP). Flexibility is essential, organization with scheduling is key, and the ability to work evening hours is required. Life is short, work somewhere you will love!

PCC would love to have you fill our part-time position (25-30 hr) in the successful Family Assistance Program!

A Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field along with two years of experience working with at-risk families is required to fill this position. The families we serve often need education on parenting, household management, relationship struggles, nutrition, budgeting, and other skills. You would be responsible for providing in-home case management and strength focused interventions to families in St. Clair and Sanilac Counties. Cases include recently closed or open CPS, foster care out-of-home placement with the goal of reunification, and removal prevention. You will work with your clients to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle, as this position is truly flexible! This program is very unique offering both supervised visitation between the parent and child and education.

This role requires you to have a reliable vehicle and a license (mileage reimbursement monthly), flexibility in scheduling, and availability to work occasional evening hours. In this position you could complete roughly 50% of your work remotely and would be eligible for many competitive benefits. The position starts at $19.24/hr, and pay varies depending on education and experience. Professional Counseling Center, P.C. has an opening for you as a part-time employee (10-15 hours per week) for our in-home/community based therapy program located in St. Clair County as a Home Based Assistant! In this program you will be working with kids and their families, alongside a Master Level Therapist. The program provides individual and family therapy in the client’s home and community, links clients with community resources, and assists with skills such as: coping techniques, family dynamics, communication skills, and anger management. You will be modeling appropriate behaviors in their sessions, teaching skills to child(ren) and teens, educating, and assisting the child(ren) with building self-esteem and social skills. This is your opportunity to provide support, teach essential skills, and make a difference in the lives of the families within St. Clair County.

We are looking for an energetic person with excellent people skills. You must be independent as you will structure your sessions and schedule, and you must possess good communication skills, and a sense of humor.

Hours for the position require an afternoon schedule, (i.e. 3 pm to 8 pm) Monday – Friday. You will work with your clients to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle. No experience needed, but experience working with children is preferred. You will receive paid hands-on training.

High School Diploma
Ability to pass a background check

On Sunday PCC participated in the first ever Chili/Soup Cookoff at the Blue Water Allies. PCC won the Golden Ladle for 1st place!!! Lisa received the ladle on PCC's behalf.

Lew Evenson, made a Hungarian soup. It was so popular he had to rush home and make a second batch. People were in line waiting for it :)

The Chili/Soup Cookoff was a fundraiser that raised over $2,000 for Blue Water Allies.

Some of PCC’s managers attended an amazing fundraiser for Port Huron’s Athletic Factory this week.
The Athletic Factory Inc. is a non profit that creates opportunities for students through athletics, educational tutoring, college prep, and other training. The Athletic Factory has multiple opportunities for students including basketball, ESPORTS, woodshop, dance, coding, tutoring, and more. All of the opportunities teach invaluable lessons! Programs are run by volunteers and are possible due to donations and fundraisers, such as the 5th Annual Game On night, on October 27th, 2025.
