HEATHER LEMANSKI

Hello, I am Heather Lemanski LM, CPM. I live in St. Clair County with my husband of 22 years and our four children, three of whom were born at home. I have been attending births since 2012 and obtained my CPM in 2018, followed by Michigan licensure as a Licensed Midwife (LM) in August 2019. As a midwife who practiced prior to statewide licensure, I offer valuable insight into both the historical and current landscape of midwifery in Michigan. My training included apprenticeships with both Direct-Entry Midwives (DEMs) and CPMs, which has shaped a balanced, blended approach to care. I believe this perspective positions me to contribute thoughtfully and effectively as an at-large board member for the Michigan Midwives Association.
