Bart and Tongs were adopted together on Wednesday. Both were feeling camera shy, and did not cooperate for a farewell photo. They are the 123rd and 124th successul cat adoption since we opened the adoption center. We will hopefully receive some pics once they settle in to their new home.

ANNOUNCEMENT

After long and careful deliberation we have decided not to renew our lease, which expires at the end of April. We will be closing our Port Huron store for good. This will complete a full decade of serving and supporting this community. We will be taking a long break from running a business, as we take some time for ourselves and plan the next phase of our journey. We have reached the limits of what we can accomplish in a small isolated market like Port Huron, and there is so much more that we still want to do.

The store will remain open until the end of April, so customers with reward points and gift cards still have 8 weeks to redeem them. The Paws, Awes & Claws cat adoption center will remain open that whole time, and you are welcome to visit the cats. With your help we will hopefully find a home for each of our current feline residents before we close.

We will still be hosting our New Moon Gatherings in March and April, as well as special pet adoption events with Paws, Awes & Claws. Autumn will also be scheduling some days for walk-in Tarot Readings. Jen will be offering limited openings for Reiki services, and teaching a limited number of Reiki 1 & 2 and Master/Teacher classes.

THREE more adoption successes on Wednesday!

Greta found her loving furever home with Rebecca!
Jango and Stardust were adopted together by Andrew and Sabrina! We are so happy for all of you.

That makes 120 cats and 20 dogs adopted since we started this partnership with Paws, Awes & Claws in June of 2024! A huge thank you to the rescue for all that they do, to all of the adopters for opening their homes and hearts, to all of those that have donated money and supplies, and to all of the visitors that have helped socialize the cats and spread the word.

Paws, Awes & Claws has a puppy adoption event coming up this Saturday in Clinton Twp. They have dogs and puppies all year around, not just the warmer months when we host events outside our store. They also have many more kittens and cats than we can host in our adoption center. Check out their FB and website to see all of the wonderful pets they are trying to find homes for. Any donations to them are greatly appreciated and are very helpful. You can find links on their page for monetary donations and ordering supplies for them. Physical donations can also be dropped off at our store.

CAT UPDATE!

We have two new kittens available for adoption. Gunther is the a playful little furball of extroverted silliness. Stardust is a more reserved polydactyl kitten with extra toes that are like opposable thumbs. Additionally, Greta has returned to us and is seeking a home where she will receive the love and respect that she deserves.
