Nothing beats hearing from happy patients whose lives have been renewed because of our product. Here’s a great example of that. Antony Hazel, MD performed a CMC joint replacement on a patient, utilizing the BioPro Modular Thumb Implant. The patient was an avid painter, but due to pain and weakness in his hand, had struggled to hold a brush or pencil. We’re introducing a new surgical animation for the Modular Thumb Implant—designed to give both surgeons and patients a quick overview of the procedure. It also highlights a key part of the recovery process: bone remodeling. In the first year after surgery, the trapezium bone beneath the implant naturally becomes denser and more sclerotic, forming a strong foundation for long-term articulation.
