We welcomed November this week, and with it came the first glimpse into some colder temps! This type of weather was perfect for our safety classes to sit down and learn some valuable information to help with independence.

We ended the week with a trip to DNR Outdoor Adventure Center and some thrift shopping! We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, we will see you all Monday!

Our final Halloween celebration and it is fitting that we got to do it on Halloween Day! Games, costumes and dancing was the perfect way to bid farewell to October, as we look ahead to a new month full of new adventures.

We even had time this week for a visit to see our wonderful Firefighters up close, special thank you to Port Huron Twp Fire Dept for having us!

Our Halloween fun didn't stop at our dance on Friday. CE staff took some time out Saturday to volunteer at City of Port Huron Parks & Recreation Department 's Halloween Stroll!

We had such a great time getting out into the community and passing out candy to the kids! Huge shoutout to everyone involved, it was a wonderful event!

Holidays are kind of a big deal here at CE, and when it comes to Halloween we don't mess around!

Our Scary Skele-bration on Friday was a smashing success! Everyone looked amazing in their costumes, and we danced the night away! We loved everyone's Halloween spirit, let's keep that going this week as we celebrate the end of October.

We were in a musical mood this week here at CE, getting some dance moves in at program and singing out hearts out at Sophisticatz Karaoke !

Add on some baking, an outside visit from some furry friends, and an end of the week shopping trip and we could not have asked for a better week! These new semester of classes are keeping our consumers busy, and we are excited to see them so enthusiastic about new challenges and adventures.
