So many of us confuse survival responses with personality traits. We say things like:
✨ “I’m just lazy.”
✨ “I’m bad at following through.”
✨ “I procrastinate too much.”

But the truth is, these can be signs of a nervous system stuck in protection mode. Your body isn’t sabotaging you - it’s trying to keep you safe with the only tools it knows.

The work isn’t about shaming yourself into more productivity. It’s about gently teaching your nervous system: “We’re safe now.” From that place of safety, energy and motivation return naturally.

You don’t have to earn rest. You don’t have to prove your worth through constant doing. You get to heal.
