Merry Christmas! What a beautifully sacred time over these last weeks that also celebrated Hanukkah.

For me, it was a blend of inner sacred honoring of the Christmas message with some outer honoring of Winter in nature. And celebrating this amazing body that has continued to strengthen and serve me on my path. So thankful for the return to long walks, my yoga mat and…my bicycle.

Hip strength and overall stamina continues to improve. Last Saturday, my dear friend and colleague Kim and I enjoyed some time at Quogue Wildlife Refuge and then a visit to the ocean. My hip and legs enjoyed the miles in the woods and then a little taste of the dunes...as did my spirit! 🍁🙏😄

This week, I joyfully began a gradual return to my treatment room after receiving a new hip on September 3rd.

I am thankful for the MRI technology that solved the mystery of some ongoing pain, as well as consults that helped guide my next steps. Reflecting on these last weeks and months, I am in awe of the pieces that seemingly just fell into place…medical information, appointments, consults and a surgical date that opened up for me earlier vs. later. But also, so much support and love as I recovered at home.

I am also thankful for the powerful blend of modern/western medicine, my path of Five Element acupuncture and Ayurveda medicine. Being able to travel through this experience with all these gifts has given me a healthy outcome. I have learned so much for myself, but also for those I serve in my treatment room. It has certainly been a “healing sabbatical!”

As Autumn and the Metal season continues to unfold…I am breathing in Divine gratitude! 🙏🍁🌞🍂❤

Earth is our mother and she gives all life the ground on which to grow. She also nourishes everything that grows on the surface with the most she can give. At this time of year there is this rich fullness of nourishment and a golden ripening of everything around.

At the end of June, I attended Self Realization Fellowship’s Worldwide Convocation in Los Angeles. What a powerful time! It’s taken me a while to settle back home (in all ways) from such a profound experience. Lectures and classes for “how to live” in this ever-changing world, meditations, kirtans, community events and pilgrimages. All rooted in how to merge a more deeply spiritual life with this material world…and how to radiate that positive energy, love and peace to others. All very much needed in our world today.

What a Divine adventure - and a blessing to be a part of! 😍🙏💜🌹🌞🕊🌺

Finally got to share this special place with my dear friend and colleague Kim Vecchio. We toasted to the memories of my time here with Mom over the years...and to creating some new memories now! Many thanks for Kim's friendship and professional counsel over the last year as my family worked through the sale of my mother's home. Quite blessed...🙏🌷🥂💜

From my retreat week at the end of March...as Winter and Spring "danced" a bit more in their transition. Such a blessing! I had some much needed time for rest, reflection and being in nature. And for reconnecting with healing practices in Ayurveda, meditation, pranayama and yoga. For my Self...and to share with those I serve in my treatment room. 🙏🌞💜
