We are inclined to help, perhaps you are too?
As most of you know, one of the core missions of the Osprey Fishing Fleet is introducing the art of fishing to children.
They are the future of this industry, and more importantly, fishing can help guide kids in a positive direction — teaching patience, responsibility, and appreciation for nature.
Recently, we were contacted by the 6th Precinct’s SHIELD program, which is looking to take a group of local kids fishing. Unfortunately, like many community efforts, their budget is limited and resources are tight.
We’d love to see their budget go toward providing food and beverages for the kids — and that’s where we step in.
We’re aiming to fundraise to cover the costs of:
• Bait 🎣
• Fuel ⛽
• tip for the mates
• prizes for the children.
All at absolutely no cost to the kids.
Just fun, fresh air, and a day they’ll never forget.
