Our Story

Our funeral home is a family owned and operated business serving families in our community since 1924. We are large enough to give our families the same service as the largest funeral homes around, yet we are small enough that each family gets the level of attention and care they deserve.

On January 17, 1924 Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. was founded by Arthur A. and Elizabeth Brown Gray. The Gray family business of conducting funerals was started at 69 Ball Street. On November 1st of 1948, the funeral home moved down the street to 77 Ball Street and continued serving the families of Port Jervis for 19 years. In February of 1967 Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. finished the construction of our state of the art funeral home facility at 100 East Main Street. This brand new funeral home is where we continue serving our families today with the same personal touch that has been the hallmark of Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. for the last 93 years.
