We had a delightful Easter family day! While a few ladies assisted with filling the eggs with treats, Cindy contributed by creating floral arrangements. We had the pleasure of watching our young friends from the Montessori school search for the hidden goodies. We had a delicious Easter lunch with families: ham, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, Good Friday cake, and edible Easter nests made from chocolate rice crispies and chocolate-covered eggs. We even had craft hour, decorating wooden eggs. Happy Easter from our Reflections family to yours! 🐣 🐰

We celebrated Barbie's 67th birthday with a joyful day of trivia, Barbie-themed activities, and customization for both Barbies and Kens. For a sweet treat, we enjoyed Pink Paradise punch and pink sugar cookies, delicious after working up an appetite during balloon races with Barbie and Ken. We loved posing for photos in our DIY Barbie box, capturing the fun of the day. 💅 👛 👠

We had such a wonderful time celebrating National Doctors Day! Our residents started the morning by crafting heartfelt appreciation cards for our in-house doctor to recognize the vital role they play in our health and happiness. We were also honored to host a special guest, Dr. Kwong, who shared her inspiring journey in medicine which was a perfect way to continue our celebration of Women's History Month. After some lively medical trivia and sweet prizes, we wrapped up our day with a sunny ice cream social in the courtyard accompanied by some smooth jazz. 🍦🎶

Tabatha is from Indiana and has maintained a strong focus on her studies to become a nurse. As a devoted mother, she has raised three remarkable children, one boy and two girls, who are now leading independent and successful lives. In her leisure time, Tabatha enjoys visiting the beach, where she finds peace in the sound of the waves and the feeling of sand between her toes. Her decision to join the Reflections Family was driven by her passion for helping others, which was further inspired by her experience caring for her grandmother. 👩‍⚕️ 🏝️

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Holi with a creative afternoon in the courtyard. Our residents used traditional powder paints to craft beautiful portraits while learning about the "Festival of Colors" and its message of good over evil. We kept the festive energy going with a lively game of "Colorful Chairs" to celebrate color therapy month. A huge round of applause to our winners Bill and Tom for their quick moves and high spirits. It was a joyful day of laughter and vibrant new experiences for everyone. 🎨🏆

As a retired carpenter with over 20 years of experience, Bill takes pride in his professional life and accomplishments. He is a devoted father to two remarkable children and has been happily married to Linda for 17 years. 🧰 🪵 🎣

We had a sham-rockin’ St. Patty’s Day full of music, movement, and luck! 🍀 Piano Paul kicked things off with classic Irish tunes and "Two of a Kind" kept us dancing while we enjoyed green punch and gold coin cookies. Between the festivities, we stayed active with chair aerobics and courtyard laps, while the ladies enjoyed festive green manicures. 💅✨
The competition was high during Irish trivia and games—big congrats to Audrey for her Wheel of Fortune win and Darlene for taking the jumbo tic-tac-toe title! 🏆 We even received "good luck" kisses from our favorite fur friend, Addie. A huge thank you to Dr. Li and the team at Goldenfeet Podiatry for sponsoring our beautiful decorations! We truly are lucky to have such a wonderful community of friends and family. 🌈☘️

We had an amazing time at "The Hidden Hen" with a private farm tour! We met adorable animals like chickens, goats, highland cows, and more. Enjoyed an outdoor lunch, and later, farm themed games at home. Huge thanks to VITAS for sponsoring this unforgettable trip! 🐔🐐🐴🐄
