Job Description

Preferred Private Care is currently seeking a self-motivated and reliable Administrative Assistant who is driven, a team player, and excels at customer service for a full-time office position in home healthcare. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for implementing the start of care for new clients, maintain client files and taking on special projects. If you are detail oriented, work well under pressure, and have compassion for working with the elderly, we encourage you to apply today. Join a great team-oriented office!

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Office hours are Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM plus on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Assists with registering and maintaining new clients, and coordinating care
Assures clients are receiving care timely and appropriately
Maintains AHCA and Preferred Private Care policies and procedures.
Provides excellent customer service to both clients and caregivers.
Any other duties, as assigned by Executive Staff.

Qualifications:

High-school diploma/GED required
CNA or HHA Preferred
Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel
Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
Reliable and professional with proven track record of good attendance
Strong attention to detail, and excellent time management
Good communication and organization skills
Critical thinking skills, including the ability to problem solve accordingly
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, and work well with a team
Must have a positive, upbeat, and professional demeanor
