Notice is hereby given that the Ozaukee County Express Bus has been permanently eliminated. The last day of service is
Friday, June 28, 2024.

Effective May 1st ~ No Shows will be charged for the ride that was booked. To prevent being charged, be sure to cancel more than an hour before your scheduled ride time.

Shared Ride Taxi is closing early on New Year's Eve. We will not be offering late night service this year. Ozaukee Shared Ride will re-open on January 2nd at 5:00 am. Have a safe and fun New Year's celebration!

Ozaukee County Shared Ride Taxi will close on Thursday, December 22 at 8:00 pm due to the winter storm. We plan to restart service at 8:00 am on Friday, December 23th. Service may be delayed if there are blizzard conditions. Check www.ozaukeetransit.com for updates in the morning. Stay safe and warm!

Comments from the public are welcome and will be heard by the Ozaukee County Public Works Committee and Ozaukee County Transit on the need to continue the Ozaukee County Express Bus service to Milwaukee County. Comments may be delivered orally or in writing. The public hearing will be on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 6:30 pm at the Ozaukee County Administration Center – Auditorium.
Written comments may be sent to Public Hearing Comments - Ozaukee Transit Services, PO Box 994, 741 W. Oakland Ave, Port Washington, WI 53074. Written comments can also be accepted by fax at (262) 284-8217 or by email to transit@co.ozaukee.wi.us. Written comments must be received by the Transit Office prior to 8:00 am Wednesday, August 10, 2022 to be considered at this hearing. All comments will be read to the Public Works Committee for consideration.

Masks are no longer required for passengers or drivers on the Ozaukee County Shared Ride Taxi. Passengers may request a driver wear a mask during service.
Masks are required on the Ozaukee County Commuter Express (MCTS 143) due to the Milwaukee County transit mask mandate.
