Recap of our incredible evening

We moved, we listened, we shared, we learned and we breathed and let go.

It was the reset so many of us needed, nourishing our bodies, supporting our nervous system and reconnecting with what helps us look good, feel healthy, feel energized and move through life with more calm and lightness.

Creamy Pistachio Wedge Salad 🥬💚

Crispy, creamy, and absolutely delicious. This salad is powered by crunchy Setton Farms Raw Pistachio Kernels! I loved creating this recipe for the pistachios add the perfect crunch, protein, and flavor to every bite.

✨ Save this for your next refreshing, protein-packed meal!

Ingredients
1 head iceberg lettuce
3 radishes, thinly sliced
½ cup Setton Farms Raw Pistachio Kernels
Salt and pepper to taste
Dressing
3 tbsp minced shallot
1 tbsp + 2 tsp white wine vinegar
¾ cup Setton Farms Raw Pistachio Kernels, chopped
⅓ cup mayonnaise
⅓ cup sour cream
3 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp lemon zest
1 ¼ tsp lemon juice
1 ½ tsp minced tarragon
3 tsp minced chives
3 tsp minced parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
To make:
1️⃣ Combine shallot, vinegar, and salt; let sit 10 min.
2️⃣ Whisk in zest, lemon juice, mayo, olive oil, and sour cream until smooth. Stir in herbs and chopped pistachios.
3️⃣ Arrange iceberg wedges on a platter, spoon dressing over top, and garnish with radishes, pistachios, salt, and pepper.

Welcome to Hands on Healthy, founded by Certified Nutritional Health Counselor Sara Siskind. While Hands on Healthy is specifically known for hosting cooking classes customized towards families, adults, teens and children, they also create nutrition plans, detox programs, and host a variety of events for the local community.

Sara Siskind has dedicated her life and career to educating clients on making the right lifestyle choices in order to look and feel their best every day. She believes that your everyday food and lifestyle choices affect your overall health, both in the present and future. Sara translates the complexity of integrated nutrition into usable tools with easy-to-cook recipes that appeal to the entire family.

Sara counsels privately to offer highly customized health and nutrition plans for her clients. She also works with parents on shopping and cooking smarter to create healthier homes. In addition, she teaches cooking classes at all levels with her signature “toss it in” approach. Sara’s expertise is regularly sought after by corporate and non-profit clients alike where she is a brand ambassador and regular public speaker.

Sara holds a BBA from the George Washington University. She has also studied at The Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City where she advanced her knowledge in cooking healthy, plant based-dishes. Sara resides in Long Island with her four children, along with her professional practice.
