When I look at this picture I not only see a beautiful rainforest, I see the way everything interacts... The tall trees that filter the light protecting the ones that are vulnerable to it. The water carries away the debris and nurtures the many species living close to the source. The species that make their home on the fallen tree helping it to reintegrate to earth and become a part of the live trees and plants around. The air that caries the spores or seeds of those species living on the fallen tree. The heat produced by the rocks when the fire of the sun finds them.
For me, this is just like our body, with it's natural way of nutrition, assimilation and disposing of what is left taking down the river where it can be reutilize by other forms of life. Even if that river becomes blocked, nature will find the way to remove the blockage or adapt to the absence of water and nutrients that will be redirected somewhere else. The environment changes, like our body in the presence of illness that has been brought up by the blockage of the nutrition distribution system until we find the blockage and re establish balance or start taking medications that shuts down the alarm system, the symptoms, until the "symptoms" expand and the body can't function and we go to become part of the earth again and one with it all...
