Celebrated on the second Wednesday in March during National Nutrition Month, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day increases awareness of registered dietitian nutritionists as the indispensable providers of food and nutrition services and recognizes RDNs for their commitment to helping people enjoy healthy lives.
"My name is Denise Knepp and I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and have been with Miller’s for nearly 38 years. It has been my pleasure to serve our residents, employees, families, and communities over the years. I love our company and believe in our core values of integrity, passion, stewardship, adaptation, and growth and have witnessed our leaders and dedicated staff living out these values every day. I absolutely love serving our elderly through our premier dining services and the provision of nutritious, well-balanced meals that we RDs have planned. I enjoy working with our talented and loyal dietary staff who “go above and beyond to” provide delicious foods, resident food preferences, and menu selections even through specialized diets."
Denise continued, "I have a daughter and son, who are both married and I have been married to Terry for 36 years. We love family time and enjoy nature through hiking, camping, biking, and gardening. We have visited over 25 National Parks and plan to visit 3 more this fall. We are avid sports fans, with baseball being my favorite. We have also been to over 15 MLB ballparks and plan to visit more."
