The Maple Winds residents celebrated Mardi Gras by making mask and tissue paper flowers while eating cupcakes with Heartland Hospice then we had a Fat Tuesday social with Carmel Apple Pie and pound cake with punch while we watched the Mardi Gras Parade

All fun and games at the Maple Winds Resident Family Valentines Gala where they became King and Queen for the day thanks to Snapchat and props! Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make this unforgettable activities event ! The nurses were sure to prepare all the clothing and the beautician Colleen curled all their hair, UPMC Hospice donated all the snacks and punch for a mingle and Ken Gray Acoustics provided the music! Bruce Walkovich then donated professional family photos that are Priceless ! Watch for those photos to come soon and a reminder to mark your calendars that March 11th is the next resident family music event mingle from 5-6 pm and music 6-7 pm ! Thank You 🌹

YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS ONE 🌹

A Resident Family Valentines Gala is scheduled for February 11 with live music from 6 to 7 PM. Come a little early 5pm-6pm in the lounge to enjoy a mingle with some snacks provided by UPMC Hospice. Photos with your loved one will be offered! Photos of the residents will be taken as a glam, shot ! Looking forward to see all the great pictures next week and a great time to dress up for your loved one ❤️🌹❤️

Ground Hog Day and he predicted six more weeks of winter as he saw his shadow, we did a little contest at Maple Winds with staff and residents and those who predicted the right prognosis today were entered into a drawing for a prize! The Punxsutawney Phil groundhog immediately went into hiding for safekeeping❄️
