✨ This March, our team is celebrating the joy of reading with a burst of Dr. Seuss–inspired imagination. Our staff even dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2, bringing smiles, giggles, and a whole lot of excitement to our learners.

- What brought you to ABA?

I have been working with kids as long as I have been old enough to work. I began working with children with special needs while working in daycare, I fell in love with it and began looking into ways I could do more.

- What do you love most about working with your patients?

I love watching them learn and grow and hit their milestones!

- What do you love most about working at Pathways?

Our staff and families are the best. Everyone is so supportive of one another.

- Tell us a little-known fact about yourself!

I love to travel and have been to over 30 states and 11 different countries.

Meet Courtney! ✨ She is a current Behavior Analysis graduate student receiving experience hours with us at our Kalamazoo clinic location and has been a Behavior Technician with us for over 2 years! Here is a little about her…

What brought you to the ABA Field?

1) I have always had an interest in working with individuals with autism. In middle school and high school, I was part of clubs that supported working with peers and have loved ABA since joining the field. I was interested in pursuing ABA when I discovered the practice, I love seeing the kids happy and making progress!

What do you love most about working with your patients?

2) I love building rapport with the clients and seeing them gain new skills!

What do you love most about working at Pathways?

3) I love the support that is given and being a part of an environment that is kind and encourages growth within the field.

Share a little-known fact about yourself!

4) A fun fact about me is that I am less than a year away from becoming a BCBA!

Thinking back to October when our team braved the local haunted houses, enjoyed savory cider and donuts from Gull Meadow Farms, conquered the corn maze, and had a costume and waffle party (with a highly competitive Family Feud game)! From spooky surprises to lots of laughs, it was the perfect way to wrap up the fall season. As the chilly winter weather rolls in, we’re grateful for moments like these that keep our spirits warm. 🍁
