Today NWI got hit with 6 inches and more is expected until tomorrow morning. Today, I made a small belated Thanksgiving Meal. I made a Turkey, Mashed potatoes and gravy (jar gravy), corn, deviled eggs, stuffing, cranberry sauce (I tried a new recipe)
My niece and her youngest daughter liked it. Dinner rolls and for dessert, apple and pumpkin pies. 🥧
My Turkey was delicious as usual. No complaints except for the one who doesn't eat turkey. She likes ham. I was the same way until I was an adult. I'm still picky about the Turkey. I only eat the white meat and it has to have gravy over it or next to the turkey. If my nephew has Smoked Cajun Turkey, I don't need any gravy. Stay Safe and Warm!

Good morning! ☀️ I hope your Thanksgiving Meal was tasty 😋 and fulfilling. Mine was. I ate plenty of delicious food including some Kenyan food. What item on your plate did you enjoy the most? It was my nephew's sweet potatoes. Yesterday was Black Friday! Did you go out for any good deals or stayed home and shopped online. I have ordered 2 gifts so far, but the rest I'm planning doing on Monday or when I go out of town in the middle of December. My friend wants to go shopping with me to get the gifts for my family. I think I'll have her go shopping and pick out her husband's and Mom and Stepdad gifts if they come into town.
Anyone going to do any Small Business Saturday shopping? I don't, but if I did it would be for s.e treats such as designer cupcakes, amish donuts and some expensive peppermint ice cream.

Today was a good day. I started out doing Uber orders. I didn't do many orders. Just enough for the day. Then, I relaxed until we left to eat pizza and wings. I hope tomorrow is another good day for Uber orders.

Good morning! In a month, it will be Christmas Eve. I have not bought any gifts because I am going out of town as long as it doesn't snow. I'll do my shopping during my trip. However, I bought 2 gifts. One for the Secret Santa at Bunco. Plus, another gift for my best friend. Has anyone done their shopping? Are you going out of town or staying home and cooking. Any special traditions your family have? This is the first year, we aren't keeping up with tradition and that's having a birthday dinner of his choice (usually it was a traditional Christmas dinner) and open gifts from Ho-Ho aka Santa. I've been wanting some buttery popcorn with Reese Pieces in it mixed with caramel popcorn. I couldn't get regular caramel popcorn so, I had to settle for Crunch 'N Munçh. That's probably going to be my afternoon snack
