The way your mind overwhelms the mantras of your heart with “what if” and “I can’t” and “it’s too hard”.

And your horse feels at all.

They are masters at reading energy and hearing the intention behind it.

They hear intention if it’s conscious or unconscious.

You choose if unconscious intentions to speak to your horse or conscious ones do.

They feel the tone of the interaction when unchecked limits, fears, doubts and resistance in unconscious intentions come in. And they follow that energy.

They feel the tone of the interaction rooted in safety, kindness, confidence, connection or patience intentions rise up. And they follow that energy.

You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to know the vastness of your unconscious mind.

It’s about setting an intention that will support your energy and your horse’s. And the practice of retuning to it.

It’s about learning more about yourself (with allowing and kindness) so that your energy can easily flow with clear intentions.

“Joanna has read my horse three times over the past three years, and each time, she has been amazingly accurate, from seeing specific dynamics in our daily rides that he has told her about, to him knowing how I was feeling about returning to jumping after an injury. The information she’s shared has helped me to adjust and improve certain elements of my rides and with noticeable results. In her body scans, she’s accurately identified areas of discomfort to pay attention to, and in one case, saw an issue he was having that I was unaware of, but that surfaced two years later. I can tell my horse is excited to “see” her each time— and excited to share his thoughts with me!”

“I’ve been so curious to experience a communication session with Joanna, and I’m so glad I finally did. It’s difficult to fully capture the depth of the experience in words, but I ended the call feeling overwhelmed with love and gratitude. What a truly incredible gift it is to be able to connect with our mare. It was amazing to witness her personality come to life, hear her concerns, and understand her feelings on various matters. I’m excited to implement what we learned and look forward to booking regular sessions with Joanna to help ensure our mare’s well-being—physically, mentally, and emotionally.”

Lori shares about our recent conversation with her mare Stella discussing how to help her in rehab and where she needs support in her jumping job. It has been such a pleasure to watch these two blossom and grow throughout the years. Here are her words:

“My mare Stella had splint surgery last summer and we have been on the long rehab road ever since. I love this mare with my whole heart and I knew she was having strong feelings of anxiety as we began working over poles and small jumps. Having her speak to Joanna was immensely helpful. Stella is the ultimate athlete and she tries her heart out, but she can let her brain get in her own way. Having her tell me what she needed from me to ease our transition back into jumping was fantastic. She immediately made progress when we followed her plan! She also let me know how she has learned to love our flatwork and that she feels very proud of our progress. I am so proud of her too and I look forward to entering this new stage with her. Thank you so much, Joanna!”
