4D is hiring for a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) – LGBTQIA+ Program
About the Role:
This position is employed by 4D Recovery and works closely in partnership with True Colors Recovery to develop and provide population-specific treatment services for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
This role centers culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and prioritizes lived experience as a valuable component of service delivery.
Compensation & Schedule
$28.00–$30.00/hour
Up to $37.00–$39.00/hour for CADC II/III
Full-time
Monday–Friday, approximately 12:00pm–8:00pm
Some weekend and meeting availability required
Key Responsibilities
Direct Client Support (Primary Focus)
Conduct substance use assessments and intakes using ASAM criteria
Develop individualized treatment plans
Provide individual and group counseling
Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
Engage families and support systems when appropriate
Care Coordination
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Support holistic service delivery across systems
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with agency, state, and federal standards
Additional Duties
Participate in team meetings and supervision
Support general recovery services
Maintain a safe and professional environment
Minimum Qualifications
CADC-I (required)
At least 1 year of experience in SUD treatment
Ability to pass background check (ODHS/OHA standards)
Valid driver’s license / reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
CADC II or III
QMHA or QMHP
Experience working with LGBTQIA+ and minority communities
Familiarity with crisis intervention (QPR)
Lived experience in recovery (2+ years preferred if applicable)
