Exciting things have been happening this year and I can't wait to share with you all.

"I got my HBAC."

I've got to be real, this moment made me tear up. I worked closely with this family and connected deeply with them. We talked through trauma, fears, doubts, risks. Everything. The nitty-gritty.

We also talked about their hopes, triumphs, desires, the benefits. Their dream birth.

This little one was eager to show her primitive knowledge. Right as this mama sat back, her little love began to root.

This sweet girl gave her mother the birth she was dreaming of. A healing home birth after a traumatic cesarean experience.

In this moment, after holding our breath, the room released. Tears, laughs, cheers, sighs. In this moment we all felt it.

She did it.

Quiet.

In this moment, things were quiet in the birth space. Nothing but the most gentle symphony of water filling her pool, the clock counting the seconds, pots simmering on the stove.
